| HFB-SOHO
is
an embryo transfer product of the good CSN showjumper
mare CARBINE Z.
SILVERSTONE
(ex-CLINT Z), his father, belongs to the well
known VDL Studfarm of The Netherlands.
Silverstone is a son of Champion du Lys, who won
many Grand Prix with Ludger Beerbaum and also
won the Derby of Hamburg twice. Furthermore, we
find the two time Olympic stallion Carthago, who
sires strongly in the jumping direction, then
the Ramiro x Gotthard son, Renomee, who also sired
more international jump horses. The thoroughbreds
Thuswin xx and Anblick xx provide the necessary
blood.
The dam Marthago is a real Holsteiner brood mare.
She became ‘Keur’ and she received
three 8’s and a 9 for jumping in her EPTM
test. She also is dam of the approved stallion
Chuck Z. Grand dam Aline is the dam of the stallion
Laralle and the international jumping horse Corniola.
From this family also descends the approved Holsteiner
stallion Corrido.
Silverstone received the highest points, during
the Stallion Test, ever for jumping in years:
scope 9 - technique 8.5 - scope 9.5 and talent
for jumping 9. He finished in 1st place for jumping
and a 3rd place in the total classification.
Silverstone was amazing in the stallion competitions.
They won 3 out of the 4 qualification rounds in
the stallion competition 2006/2007. In the Stallion
competition of 2005/2006 he was placed 2nd.
His sons also are showing themselves in sport:
Winston was Dutch Champion of the 4 year old jumpers.
Bugatti got his approval for the KWPN.
His sons
Bigeunerin,
B. Ocinthe,
Amina, Zolivia,
Zoxalis Ziewica van de Hermitage,
Zanzare and
Bridgestone RV
are all very good sport horses.
CARBINE Z is
an Zangersheide branded imported mare that shows
lots of quality in sport and has an incredible
pedigree. Her father is the very early deceased
CARETANO Z. His
sire Caretino (Caletto II)is considered one of
the best sires in Holstein breeding. On his dam's
side Caretano Z carries the highly reputable Holstein
lineage 104a. The following stallions are out
of this valuable lineage: Capitano, Carneval,
Corland, Celano, Leuthen I Z, Contendro and Action
Hero. Caretano Z belongs to the most promising
sport horses of his generation with a lot of potential
for the big sport. As a 7-yr-old Caretano Z won
the prestigious WC for young horses in Lanaken.
He then continued to make a magnificent début
in the international showjumping sport at the
World Cup finals in Gothenburg. In 2001, on the
way to Rome, a fatal rupture of the loin brought
the highly promising international career of Caretano
Z to an end. Caretano Z offspring dominate in
showjumping competitions and the prices paid for
the coveted blood of Caretano Z are often very
high. The valuable blood of Caretano Z is also
available via his sons Chardonnay Z, Chicago Z,
and Cracky Z.
INIBHINE Z,
the grandmother of HFB-SOHO, is a BWP and Z branded
mare that mixes the biggest expoents of the French
Sporthorse breeding: QUIDAM DE REVEL and NARCOS
II.
QUIDAM DE REVEL
is one of the best performers of his generation.
In 2004, Quidam de Revel topped the World Breeding
Championships Jumping Stallion ratings for the
second year running, establishing himself as the
pre-eminent – and most expensive –
living sire of jumping horses. Quidam de
Revel has sired many brilliant performers who
have inherited his amazing sporting ability. More
than 35 of Quidam’s stallion progeny have
become approved stallions around the world.
Quidam’s pre-eminence as a sire was confirmed
at the 2002 WEG in Jerez where he was the sire
of more showjumping participants than any other
stallion. Successful offspring include:
Goldy, Guidan, Circa Z, Tlalloc La Silla, Nabab
de Rêve, Dollars Boy, Hermès St Lois, Happy Villers,
Jadis de Toscane, Belsedène d’Amaury, Bamby

NARCOS II made a brilliant start to his
international career with Eric Navet at all the
major European venues and also in the U.S. Chosen
to compete in the Seoul Olympics and has been
a regular competitor in international competitions
from Calgary to Hickstead. For several years,
Narcos II
has been placed as Best Sire of Young Horses for
four, five and six-year-olds at Fontainebleau.
Thanks to the winings of his offspring, he took
second place as French Stallion of the Year in
1994, 1st place in 95, and second in 96. This
is one of the most sought after stallions in France
where his offspring who are now jumping internationally
are in great demand.
Narcos II is the sire of 32 approved
stallions in France alone. His son Twist
du Vallon is "Horse of the year
1998" in the USA. Many of his descendants
take part in international events. They include
such name as : Trophée
du Rozel, Urbain du Monnai, Twist du Vallon, Tisca,
Une des Cresles, Ulanne du Plessis, Anisette Brécéenne,
Altesse de Boêle and Vicking
du Tillard, the French National Champion,
ridden by Hervé Godignon in 1996.
HFB-SOHO is a big, long legged foal, as
the ones his father produces. Light footed, well
set neck and a very good uphill canter. Blood
well balanced and superb showjumping lines till
his 6th generation.
