HARAS FB began in 1986. Starting from a family property, the owner, the show jumping rider Dr. Adriana Busato, after ingress in the Veterinary Medicine University, began the Stud farm and the sport horses breeding program.
The first foal happened really by chance, when an Adriana’s thoroughbred jumping mare sustained an injury and could not compete anymore. This mare was sent to breed with one of the few Warmblood jumping stallions available then in Brazil: the Holsteiner Cortino Joter, (by Cor de la Bryere) and gave birth to the first HFB-Foal : HFB-Interceptor

From these days to now, a lot of investments were done - at the material field - with functional and modern installations, to fulfill the necessities of the Stud farm, and in the knowledge field - with deep lineages and sport horse types studies , leading us to our firsts pregnant broodmares and frozen semen importations from Germany, Belgium and Netherlands.
As a vet, Adriana Busato specialized herself in equine reproduction, working with artificial insemination and embryo transfer - she is now Teacher of the Veterinary Equine Department of the State Catholic University.

HARAS FB do not possess stallions, because we believe that - with our few and Top-Quality mares - the best is to study them deeply to find out the specific stallion for each one. Then, we use Artificial Insemination (AI) or Embryo Transfer (ET) from the best worldwide available jumping stallions.

Our lineages and the stallions that we use for breeding are slightly different from what is present now in the Brazilian market, because every year we do new frozen semen importations from the confirmed bloodlines and modern winner sport stallions from several Warmblood Studbooks, trying to bring the best from each one to combine with our mares. We always try to be in the lead, to put these lineages in the Brazilian Market and offer the best.
